I was literally gagging and choking on my vomit because my planned vaginal delivery became an emergency c section and the meds were pushed so fast i couldn’t breathe anymore, and my epidural was completely failed on the left side

To everyone: not everyone’s story is the same. This is scary. I had a C section in 2021 and I was fully awake and aware of everything the entire time

I get sick w/any anesthesia. I always ask for scopolamine patch. Put behind your ear good for 72 hours! I never have any nausea with it!

It doesn’t have to be that way! Tell them not to give you so many meds. Lots of fluids before section! All the fluids!

For those scared, I had a c section and although I did get a little nauseous it was an amazing experience. I was awake and aware and met my baby boy ❤️I’d do it again!

Physically, my c-section wasn’t awful. I felt normal within a week or two. Emotionally, it was very tough. 🥺

I've had a emergency one, the trauma from it is unreal 🤦 I don't think I could open my eyes for 15 minutes and the bright light was intense 😔
