To address the JROTC thing, we are an entirely volunteer force. JROTC should reflect exactly that, only those that volunteer must participate.

Ooof. I did 3 years of JROTC and then enlisted. I loved it…for me. I would never force my kids to take it let alone every kid.

compulsory JROTC. no, absolutely not. I chose to join the USAF, as an adult, that type of learning doesn't work for everyone.
