@delgadosaurus: I first watched THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD in a packed car with my family at a drive-in theater in the San Fernando Valley in 1973. This sequence knocked me out then, as it still does today. Ray Harryhausen’s stories had a sense of wonder, awe and adventure, and was/is a big reason I am who I am today. His films also gave me an appreciation of archeology and world cultures.
