@wiccancuisine: (🇬🇧🇪🇸) 🇬🇧Iced Buns, a recipe inspired by “Brave” (Disney, 2012)🍃✨🥮 Hoy fun it has been to create my own version of what I saw in this beautiful movie 🥰 If you watch carefully, you can see the light changing during the video; that’s because the sunlight entered the kitchen as the day went by🌞 🏔️ This recipe takes some time, but you know what? It’s completely worth it!✨ 🍁 INGREDIENTS: • Buns: 440g. Flour 240g. Milk 55g. Butter 25g. Fresh yeast 3 Egg yolks 2 Tbsp. sugar 1 Tbsp. vanilla sugar 1 Tsp. lemon zest 1 tsp. salt • Filling cream: 500g. Milk 90g. Sugar 50g. Cornstarch 3 Eggs 1 Tbsp. vanilla sugar • Icing: 250g. Icing sugar 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1 Egg white • Extra: Sunflower oil for frying. Candied cherries to garnish top. 🍁 STEPS: • Mix all the ingredients of the buns, grease a bowl with butter (this dough is very sticky) and place the dough in it. Cover with a cloth and let rest for 2 hours. • For the cream, mix all the ingredients in a pot and cook at low heat for 15-20 minutes while mixing. • Roll out the dough and shape the buns as you can see in the video. Cover with a loth and let rest for 1 hour. • Fry the buns with sunflower oil and garnish.
