@sultrydoll: I can’t believe in a few weeks it’ll be a year since we lost the divine April Ashley. My heart aches to know we lost another trans pioneer not just from the Carrousel, but from the community. People use the term ‘icon’ & ‘pioneer’ lightly yet never give transsexual women like April enough credit. She fought her whole life for her identity and her womanhood. She’s the definition of woman.
