So true. They are joys but hard work. Slept on the couch (barely slept) to watch over my kitty when she was recovering from her spay surgery.

Yes! I have had dogs and cats forever. And I had a dog that required medical care 24/7for a part of her life & don’t get a pet unless you can do that.
