There’s nothing inherently wrong with any of these pieces. It’s the proportion they create together that’s throwing me off. The skirt is very short and has volume, so it creates a strong horizontal break high on the thigh. Then the opaque black tights create a long, uninterrupted column underneath it, while the chunky sneakers add another heavy visual block at the bottom. So rather than creating a long, fluid line through the legs, the lower half feels visually compressed and weighted. That’s why the look feels slightly off to me.
