@leaderofthepacklv: A submissive grin can be scary if you don’t know what you’re looking at. Generally the mouth will be fully closed, eyes will be very squinty and it will almost appear like they’re trying really hard to smile. Do not scold or punish your dog if you see this. And if I’m being totally honest, I don’t recommend punishing a dog when they show teeth, regardless of the reason. WHY?? Because it’s a huge form of communication.
