Yes!!! - this is so accurate. I have to have my 6 week check up over the phone (& late at 9 weeks) but baby has constant check ins 🤦♀️🥴

It takes 2 years for the body to fully heal after pregnancy but docs just say see ya never after 6 weeks while ur pelvic floor is hanging by a thread

This is a big part of why I went with midwifery care! Home visits for both me and baby for 8 weeks after birth, plus an appointment with an affiliated pelvic floor PT.

Where I live you have the option of midwife or OB care. The midwives made me fee sooooo taken care of! And home visits after baby which was amazing.
