love your work but disagree on this one. I feed my shepherd wait an hour or so then we get to work, training for us is training items that he wants like ball on a rope or search toy. they are always ready to work for the prize. but that's just what works for me.

My mom puts out food for my dog and leaves it out all the time for the dog, she never trains her. And then complains that the dog never listens.

Depends on the dog lad if the dog is very food motivated it will always work for food 👍

I personally train before I feed. Half is for training and done by hand other half after training is free.

He’s not saying he’s not gonna feed them. He just doesn’t feed them right away. He trains first then when that’s over then they eat their bowl.
