‼️‼️UPDATE: READ THIS PLS‼️‼️ This will not be the only or final election that a Democrat will have to face against the far right (our Overton window has shifted and politicians are taking note of the mass embrace of Kamala with no scrutiny and will deploy the same “vote blue bc the right is worse” campaign in the next 4 years w/o adhering to the policies we want, if we aren’t a little more critical). People like myself, who are wary of Kamala, are justified in that response. Project 2025, will just become Project 2029 and so on and so forth. Saying you may not vote for Kamala until she appeals to more progressive policies, is a SMART political tactic, it pressures her- Biden dropped out- IT WORKS. Again, I said I MAY vote 3rd party, not because I think they’ll win but bc I think it’ll send a message to the Democratic Party to LISTEN and APPEAL to mass portions of their voter base (and it also aids in the legitimacy of a non 2 party system- it gives people hope). I’m not saying this bc I think I’m “morally superior,” as many are suggesting- imo to either not think about the far right politicians who are going to come after trump, and also to make themselves feel better- I’ve been EXPLICIT that I don’t care if you vote Democrat. You don’t have to agree with me, but that doesn’t mean you have the right to become h0st¡le with people who are just as scared and just as, if not more, marginalized than you are. You should, for the most part, put the onus of political failings on politicians, not scared civilians, because again politicians are supposed to work for us- not the other way around. I know the comments may get wild, so again, reread what I wrote, and then reread 2 more times before you come @ me sideways. #politics #elections #democrats #leftist
