Wash those minis with warm water and soup before you paint them, they have a resin that will mess up your paint a fade away

just a quick note on Wizkids minis. They are prone to chip slightly, so use a wash to lock them in.

Get a primer made for plastic models, spray it thinly and evenly. It's not very important, but it makes the paint stick better and painting becomesfun
