apparently the diesel nozzle is slightly larger so it shouldn't fir a good bit of the time

You dont need a new fuel tank if you put the wrong fuel in. Just get the fuel out and put the right one in.

i had to drain a diesel tank once when i worked for chevy, because of that, dude thought the green was diesel, luckily he got it towed after he did it
