Matcha Churros 💚🍵 Ingredients: * 1 cup water * 2 tbsp unsalted butter * 2 tbsp sugar * 1/4 teaspoon salt * 1 tbsp matcha powder * 1 cup all-purpose flour * 2 large eggs * Vegetable oil, for frying Matcha Sauce: 150g Matcha Chocolate Bar 1/4 cup milk Instructions: * In a pot, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Heat over medium heat until the butter is melted and the mixture comes to a boil. * Add matcha powder. Whisk well until the matcha powder is fully incorporated into the mixture. * Add the flour to the saucepan. Stir until the mixture forms a smooth dough and pulls away from the sides of the pan. * Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the dough cool for a few minutes. * Gradually add the eggs to the dough until fully incorporated. The dough should become smooth. * Heat vegetable oil in a pot for frying. * Transfer the churro dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip nozzle. * Pipe strips of dough into the hot oil. Use a knife or kitchen scissors to cut the dough. * Fry until golden brown and crispy, turning them occasionally with tongs. This should take about 3-4 minutes per batch. * Remove the fried churros from the oil and place them on a cooling rack. * In a separate bowl, mix matcha chocolate bar and milk.
