@bitsycakes_: Merry Christmas EVE ✨ (part one) 🎄 Hiiiii I know I’ve been quiet about holiday stuff but honestly, sometimes niche content just doesn’t match my vibe and I choose not to participate in what doesn’t truly make me happy. Especially not for the sake of the ‘gram 😂 Here’s the start of something y’all can probably guess I’m making 🤭 with my scratch chocolate cake, banana caramel italian buttercream, and candied pecans (comment if you need these recipes) Plusss, a visual of me trying a new technique. When I do sculpted stuff.. arches, triangles, etc, I usually buttercream and finish the cake standing up. But this time I wanted to try something different (for me) and I’m still working on this so I can’t say just yet if I like it more. Stay tuned for more on this! Oh! And for you weird internet glove warriors… I’m wearing gloves in the beginning because my chocolate cake is MOIST and was only partially frozen. I only wear gloves to protect my hands, not the food, and I didn’t want chocolate cake to stick to my hands. Once that bit was done though, I happily rip those damn gloves off and WASH MY HANDS.
