Go to Value $ dollar or ABC bargain centre for cheap stuff. Lau Pa Sat is a tourist attraction so their food is more expensive than other hawkers

If you’re around the downtown area (Marina Bay, Raffles Place etc) check out Maxwell Hawker Centre! Defo try out Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice (you can’t miss it!) Loads of variety, and better tasting than anything at Lao Pa Sat x but definitely check out LPS for the history!
