@al_dante_channel: Chocolate Pear Loaf 📕Recipe here ❂ Ingredients For Chocolate Loaf: 30g. Dark Dutch Cocoa 60ml. hot boiling water 180g. Flour 1 Tsp Baking powder 1/2 Tsp Salt 200g. Unsalted butter, at room temperature 250g. Granulated white sugar 1 1/2 Tsp vanilla dry or extract 4 large eggs, at room temperature 2 Tbsp milk, at room temperature For pouched Pears: 2 Pears 1 Сinnamon stick Vanilla beans 2 Slices of orange 1/4 cup Sugar 1/4 cup brewed Earl Grey tea ❂ Cooking process: ⁃ Peel the pears leaving any stems attached. ⁃ Pour water in a small pot (1.5 L/ 50oz) and turn on the stove. ⁃ Add sugar, cinnamon stick, vanilla bean, slices of orange and brewed earl grey tea. ⁃ When the water boils add the pears and cook over high heat for 5 minutes. ⁃ Reduce to a simmer and cook (20 to 25 minutes) uncovered, turning the pears occasionally and keeping them submerged, until the pears are tender and the liquid is slightly thickened. ⁃ In a small bowl mix the cocoa powder into the boiling water until the cocoa powder has dissolved and is smooth. ⁃ Beat the butter with sugar in the bowl of your electric mixer until smooth. Medium-high speed (about 5 minutes). ⁃ Add the eggs and mix. ⁃ Beat in the cooled cocoa mixture. With the mixer on low speed, add the flour, vanilla, baking powder, salt and milk, mix only until combined. ⁃ Put parchment paper in the prepared loaf pan (8.5x4.5 inch), pour the dough and smooth the top with an offset spatula or the back of a spoon.
