I have practical experience working with my father in manual water well drilling for communities that had no access to clean water. We drilled wells with an average depth of around 35 meters, entirely by hand, without machines. Each project depended heavily on the underground conditions. Some wells took two weeks, others up to two months, depending on soil, rock, and water level. This work required physical endurance, discipline, teamwork, and problem-solving under difficult conditions. Now I am looking for an opportunity to work on a drilling island / offshore drilling project. The core principles are very similar — drilling, coordination, safety, and endurance — only on a much larger scale and with harsher weather and environmental conditions, which I am prepared for.
