@thedenisepotter: For every one person who is annoyed by me sharing my sobriety journey, there is another person who needed to hear that it’s okay to not drink today. 💜 And that life is actually pretty awesome without alcohol 😍 I’m watching a series on Netflix & it dawned on me. They warn you about smoking at the beginning of each show but not alcohol. 🚬🤷♀️🍷Hear me out … In most states, you need to be older to get alcohol vs cigarettes 🤨 So why are there no warnings about drinking alcohol? Psst… I’ve actually even seen parents drink alcohol on shows meant for kids 12 and under. 🍷 Honestly, I never really noticed when I was an “avid drinker” 😏 I share this because one of the hardest things I had to overcome in the beginning of my #sob#sobriety seeing alcohol plastered every where I went and almost every show I watched. 😣 So if I can help one person in recovery see that it’s okay to not drink today, then that’s worth more than anyone’s judgement of me. 🎤 ⬇️ #soberwarrior #sobercurious #odaat #sobermomtribe #lifeisbeautiful #alcoholfree #sober #sobriety
