I never had issues with this but I did have a lot of people using translation apps to talk with me and they always assumed I was Russian? I uh, don't understand/speak Russian 😂

Uber in Korea is actually just Kakao Taxi. You can pay in advance with foreign cards and then they won't be able to say no cause you paid already.
