My toddler son once called 999 from my grans phone and the police came. We were mortified, but yes, it’s good that they came out.

That happened to us my daughter then 10 months old managed to call 999 silent call police at my door they came in and checked everything was okay

We had a fax machine and when dialling internal it begins 49 we had a new lady and she was told the number but dialled 9999 instead of 49 the police

We accidentally pushed the ‘911’ button in our rental car the first time we were in the USA, within seconds they called back to make sure we were ok!
