I had a camera lens protector dropped something that weighed over 90 pounds on the leg pocket my phone was in and the lens protector was shattered completely and the lens' were fine so they can be worth it if you never take pictures

People say it doesn't affect the quality, however If you compare it to using it without the protector, it has a lot more lens flare from bright light

Honestly this is bad advise. I’m using phone skins rather than case atm and these help reduce scratches. No compromise on quality at all.
