I did a management role for three years and was completely exhausted and overworked . Mandatory 60 hours and worked single holiday. And I’ll never get those three years in my 20s back. I will never work that much and not have anything to show for it again.

I think this is why the whole “quiet quitting” thing is such an “issue” we will need to replace those positions and I think we are going to see a huge shift in corporate America because of that. And those currently in charge won’t be able to continue extorting so much out of us

Not wanting to work is not tied to anti intellectualism. It’s more about labor rights and reducing hours, more PTO, better healthcare, higher wages. Gen z is right behind millennials as the most educated generation in American history and this is only bc of half r still in school
