@the_london_spy: This is my own original copy of a 1667 Parliamentary inquiry into the causes of the great fire of London, it’s full of interviews with witnesses, letters found, suspicious circumstances recorded, and even the interview with the alleged fire starter himself, Hubert, who was executed before it was discovered he’d actually not been in the country at the time. The other interesting thing about it is the date on the second page for the meeting of the committee in 1666, which doesn’t appear to make sense according to our own calendars.
