@daniascuisine: Libyan aseeda🇱🇾 This is not the only way to make aseeda, every Libyan household differs. Helpful tip: use a stand mixer instead of manual mixing. I wanted to show the manual method for tradition’s sake. Aseeda to serve 3 people: -4 cups of water -1/2 tsp salt -1 tbsp olive oil -3 cups flour -olive oil and honey or date syrup (to serve) Heat up the water, salt, and olive oil together in a pot until it boils. Set about a cup of this aside before quickly mixing all-purpose flour into the pot. Mix this very well, this will require some arm strength; you can do this part off the heat. Then, add the portion of water you set aside and let this cook on low heat for 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes are up, whip the aseeda one more time. The mixture is now ready. To serve, add olive oil to each plate and portion out the aseeda. Shape it into a round disk, you can dip your hand in water to help. Then top with more olive oil, and honey or date syrup and enjoy! #libyanfood #libya #libyan #northafrican #african #AfricanFood #arab #🇱🇾 #Recipe #food #Foodie #dessert #breakfast #foodinspo
