Stay out of the sun.. if not will get worse before gets better. At night I put toothpaste with salt, mix them and put them in ur lip will heal fast

They make a pill you can get from the Dr and you take it as soon as you feel it start and it goes away! Valacyclovir. I get them from the sun also.

That's a Coldsore. Use SPF lipsalve on holiday. If you get a cold Dore try the compeed patches or zovirex
