@gljrenovates: SCALE WEIGHT… ⁣ & that number does NOT define you If you’re kickstarting your fitness journey in January please remember that you’re not defined by the number on the scales & trust me abs do not bring you happiness I’ve seen my body through bulking phases, diets for bikini competitions, maintaining & lifestyle diets & for some of you your goal maybe a 6 pack… it looks cool doesn’t it? It isn’t sustainable for the majority. That was for a competition which pushed me hard, I don’t regret it, I learnt a lot, I reversed out of prep and I achieved what I set out to achieve. ⁣ Left - The heaviest I’ve ever been & the strongest I’ve ever been in the gym. I was bulking to build more muscle for my bikini competition. ⁣ Middle - the leanest I’ve ever been & also the weakest I’ve ever been in the gym, low energy, fatigued 24/7 - i dieted for 27 weeks here, loosing 16kg for my competitions Right - the current, heading into a bulk, body composition being at one of the best places it has been for me & I’m feeling good💪🏻 This is your reminder, wherever you are at in your fitness journey please do not let the scales define you.
