If you use assembly oil, there’s a smaller chance of this happening and you also get a more accurate torque reading

I know your feels 😅 I got rocker covers bolts and camshaft bolts mixed up I torqued the rocker cover bolt to 42nm when it was only meant to be 15 😅

The tighter the slower to torque. The harder and heavier you pull, the faster breakable tension occurs

The amount of head bolts I’ve snapped is a joke, it just happen’s. Even with sequence and “pre stretching” if that’s what you would call it

I've ran unto this and a buddy of mine told me for TTY bolts you do your first round and give it some time for th bolts to stretch to prevent braking
