Juice or glucose tablets! Peanut butter is great to help maintain the sugar level but not to rapidly make her feel better

My partner is a T1 and we always have cases of capri sun juices on deck. A case in ever room in the house and in each car, bag, etc

Get her on a continuous glucose monitor (like Dexcom or Libre 2), so you can stay ahead of highs and lows). And yes, she needs fast acting sugar.

Raw sugar under the tongue and let it dissolve. Sugar rapidly absorbs into the bloodstream this way. Faster than the stomach. My Dr told me to avoid
