Our stove vent does not vent outside. It was a builder that did that. Countless inspectors missed it for 20+ years.

The cabinet was secured with sheetrock screws. Sheetrock screws are for sheetrock not to support cabinets. Proper cabinet screws/fasteners are needed.

My new construction home (17 yrs but it was new when bought) does not have exterior vent for gas stove. Microwave above it vents back into room. 🤔
