Molten Lava Crumbl Copyca Cookie recipe 1 box Devils food cake mix 2 eggs 1/2 c melted butter or oil 1/2 c chocolate chips, optional Mix cake mix, eggs, and oil/butter together until you have a dough. Stir in chocolate chips if using. Place dough in fridge for 30 minutes. Chocolate lava filling You’ll need any hot fudge sauce, like the ones in the jar. I used the @choczero fudge sauce. Spoon the sauce into a ziplock or piping bag and pipe dots onto a parchment lined sheet and place in the freezer. You want this really frozen so that it won’t melt out of the cookies. You’ll need to freeze it a few hours or even overnight. If you don’t want to fill them with hot fudge sauce, you can use a piece of chocolate candy to stuff in the middle. Remove dough from fridge and divide into 8 balls. Flatten each ball and add a frozen dot of fudge to the middle, making sure to roll the dough to completely cover the fudge sauce. Bake at 350 for 9-11 minutes until the edges are set. Let cool on baking sheet a few minutes, then sprinkle with powdered sugar. That’s it! You can even freeze this cookie dough and pull out a few any time you want some fresh baked cookies. So yummy with the gooey molten lava center!
