My school banned phones and honestly there’s not that big a difference. If anything my grades have gotten worse. Kids sneak it either way

Used to do IT Management in schools. This is a horrific idea. You need to embrace technology and make positive use cases for it, There are also issues with BYOD and access to technology rights.

I believe studies have shown mixed results in this regard. While the may prepare students for technology, they haven't been shown to improve learning.
