@renee4real: Tail rot in a bearded dragon. VERY SERIOUS IF NOT TREATED RIGHT AWAY. It will continue to spread up the tail and would eventually lead to organ failure and death. If you notice and discoloration, course scales, the damaged area becomes very hard and necrotic.
