@munchinwithmaddie_: a solid cozy meal made a little bit lighter with spaghetti squash & ground turkey! everyone will love this one 💗 RECIPE (gluten free, dairy free option*): -1 spaghetti squash (about 2 lbs) -1 lb ground turkey (i used 93% lean, you can sub ground turkey or beef) -1 onion, diced -3 cloves garlic, minced -1 tbsp italian seasoning -salt + pepper to taste -2 cups marinara -1 cup shredded mozzarella *sub dairy free cheese -optional: a little shredded parm *sub dairy free cheese -optional: chopped basil or parsley to top preheat oven to 400F. cut spaghetti squash in half and remove the seeds. brush the inside with a bit of oil and season with salt and pepper. place face down on a baking sheet. poke the skin with a fork several times. bake for 30 minutes. let cool slightly and then scrape the spaghetti squash out. meanwhile, bring a large pan to medium heat and add oil. once hot, add onion & sauté for about 5 mins, stirring occasionally. add garlic and cook a minute longer. add ground turkey and break it apart. add italian seasoning, salt and pepper. cook until done through. add marinara and stir. reduce heat to low. add cooked spaghetti squash and toss to combine. place mixture in a 9x9 pan (or a larger one) and top with mozz and parm (you will need more cheese then called for if you bake it in a larger pan). bake uncovered for 25 mins. top with chopped basil or parsley if desired. enjoy :) #spaghettisquash #meatsauce #casseroles #easyandhealthy #HealthyDinnerIdeas #healthyrecipes #groundturkey #winterrecipes #winterdinner #redsauce #glutenfreerecipes
