Not forget when they changed to the 1-abc-123 form. The king with plate “1” recieved all the speedtickets because the systeem didn’t recognized them

Those small ones are actually hard to find these days. When an owner changes car it needs to be replaced by the new size.

Belgium here 👍🙂 oh yeah: plates beginning with T- are for taxis. Trailers have a separate plate, starting with Q-. 😉

What’s interesting is that our red colour lettering is not within the EU rules. We discussed in 2010 changing to black on yellow, but politics got in the way (they are the two colours of one of our regions - Flanders).

there's also M-abc-123 for motorcycles and scooters have S-Abc-123 for 25km/h and S-Bbc-123 for 45km/h and you have S-Ubc-123 for small 45km/h cars
