For civil war we just do powder charges, essentially we do the same as you’d do when live firing. But without actual ammo. Just powder.

Brandon Lee on the set of The Crow died from gas’s and wadding in a blank. Never stand in front of blank ammo. The shooting on Rust was due to an actual live round and horrible set controls.
