When I worked at AMC, we had a whole sign up sheet for employees to take when the movie came out. Some posters would SIT for months

I had some friends that worked at movie theaters back in the day, and apparently also there may be contracts with the distributing studios that the promotional materials like cutouts and posters have to be returned 🤷♂️
