I will never understand how in USA they count sick days as vacation wtf.I have 6 weeks of vacation each year& if I get sick I get sick that’s separate

Our policy states you only get paid for the holidays if you work the day before and after said holiday.

Gov employees get more than that includes PTO(3), sick(12) and vacation(15) + All federal holidays. and half days before major holidays 😅😅

Most are weekends. So not really work days off. I book my vacation on the short statutory holiday weeks too.
