@jayceebrammer: A moment of silence for Ms. Dream Fridge 🥲 IKYMI: We planned our entire kitchen around this refrigerator and I love her. It’s so perfect and sleek with all of the options I wanted. But, as we were finalizing our custom cabinet order, the kitchen designer (who we later found out was new to the job), recommended doing a smaller space for our fridge so we’d have more counter space. He said they really recommend that bigger opening, but everyone does this and it’s great. And after spending hours trying to order these cabinets we were exhausted and over it. So we didn’t think much of it and since he was the professional, we trusted him and went with it. But, the smaller space meant there wasn’t enough room between the fridge and the wall to open the door. So we had two options: 1.) Completely tear out all of our new flooring, tear down that wall, install a new beam (we just installed the other one a couples weeks before), drywall it again, paint again, lay the flooring again, and then the fridge would finally open. But that opening would look off center from the dining room and it would take over a week of work. 2.) Just get a smaller fridge. And while I absolutely loved this fridge, I loved the idea of not having to tear out our brand new kitchen that we spent the last month renovating even more lol. So today I said goodbye to Ms. Dream Fridge.
