You need a cut from a curly hair expert. They will usually layer it much more than yours.

2 things: 1) layers 2) hair has memory. If you’ve been wearing it straight, it’s gonna take awhile of doing your curly method to bring your curls out

1st off I think it’s cute BUT if you’re getting it cut while straight then it will never look quite as satisfying curly. Dry curly cuts are 🙌🏽🙌🏽

It looks so great! But if it bothers you, definitely get a curly cut to add in layers.. It helps round the style out more so it’s less triangular

fellow poofy girl here 🙋🏻♀️I find growing my hair longer really makes a difference. it needs the length to weigh itself down. layers do not help.

If I’m being honest, it looks way better this way, then straight based on your profile picture. It does have more volume but maybe use a smoothing agent to keep the frizz down. I like Rusk Wired bc it’s not oily.

Go to a curly hair hairstylist. My daughter has very curly hair. I like it curly. It looks good both ways.

It’s not bad! I’d recommend getting more layers and having them thin it out- that’s what I have to do. Oh and just clipping one side back, but that might just be my style.
