Nooooo!!!! Pour boiling water into the old candle and it will float to the top and harden, then you can take it out easy and use it as a wax melt!

I put the old candle in a boiling pot of water to melt the wax and pour it in a smaller container and use a candle warmer if theres no wick. Or you can pour boiling water into the old candle and then it cools as a neat disc of wax floating on top of the water

If u freeze the candle the wax will come right out of the container! U might have to break it up a bit bc the opening looks like it has smaller radius

To get the extra candlewax out you can heat it up in the microwave for 3min and then let it sit and cool down it is floats right up to the to the top

You can freeze the candle overnight and then stab it with a 🔪 to break it up, it’s the cleanest way!

Make a silicone mold of your pretty candles. Then you can put your excess wax there and make new candles.

tip after you burn it put it in the fridge it'll harden the wax making it the same as it was before
