Other that getting 8-15 Mpgs... the V10 is one of Ford's most reliable engines

I would not complain about fuel mileage at all with this engine. It’s a huge V10! Helloooo

I'm personally not a ford fan but I will say that engine is a beast, it's strong and sounds amazing when under load. not fuel efficient though.

I found two of them in Ford excursions one had 250,000 miles before it let go. They were great trucks lots of power and very smooth high RPMs. I have nothing bad to say about the Ford V 10.

A Ford v-10 is a fairly reliable and strong running engine with a good transmission behind it. I have 1 and I’d buy another one with no hesitation.

Should of been base engine for superduty. Idk who thought it was a great idea to have a 5.4 in a 7k pound truck, especially in 99 when they had 235hp

I had spark plug seize in 2008. It broke off even with the extraction tool. Thought we cleaned debris out of cylinder but it scored cylinder wall. I

There's going to be negative comments. if you actually owned this engine you know they last long and have lots of torque.

spitting spark plugs? must be a ford thing across the board. I know of 2 4.6 v8 that did that also

They always popped the spark plugs out. They would be hanging on the plug wires.
