Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) - is when your child may feel strange tingling or crawling sensation in their legs- that only feels better when they move their legs. They may complain that their legs hurt every night. Periodic limb movement disorder (PLMD) is when your child is sleeping he makes brief jerks of of his arms or legs every 20 to 40 seconds. He may even wake himself up from the jerking motions. Sleep is so important for everyone- especially growing children.
