If you look at bats with a torch please do it with a red cellophane sheet over it as white light normal torches hurt the bats already limited vision.

We entered by going over the fence off the street, we got to the exit at the river but it was high tide, couldn't get out, we had to go back.

if you’ve never been to these tunnels and want to go, please be aware of the tide. it can rise quickly and if you’re far in, you won’t make it out

There was a few tunnels from the old migrants hostel that was there in the 80s when I worked there..😳 1 led away from the river

Plan the tides and go for a proper explore up there mate. It’s crazy how deep you can go. I freaked out when I seen a light but it was just a drain 😂
