This is why I have to test/ shade match drugstore foundations and concealers at Ulta, and then buy the shade cheaper at a regular drug store.

Western Canada had testers before Covid. The salesperson told me they got rid of them for hygiene purposes

it likely gets stolen quickly. I had a friend who knew the days the drug store would put out new samples and get it before they are used

As someone who worked drug store retail… I would get displays to put out, and if they had testers they were always smashed up in less than 24 hours. Display would have to remain up until sold out or we got new ones in.
