@brightly.eco: Have you ever had chickpea milk? 🥛 @Lilsipper shared this recipe you can make right at home! Keep reading for the full recipe ⬇ Ingredients: 1 cup of dried chickpeas, soaked in 5 cups of filtered water overnight (at least 10 hours) 8 cups of filtered water 2-3 dates (optional) Method: After the chickpeas have been soaked, drain the soaking liquid and rinse chickpeas well. Add the chickpeas to a blender along with the 8 cups of water (add in the dates now if using), and blend it very well. Pour the blended chickpeas into a cheesecloth or nutmilk bag that is hanging over a saucepan. Squeeze out as much liquid into the pan as you can and heat the liquid over low for about 20 minutes, stirring constantly. It may thicken up a bit, so you can add a little more water if you prefer to the pan. After the 20 minutes, turn off the heat and let the milk reach room temperature. Put it onto a clean glass container and store in the fridge for up to 7 days. #livebrightly
