You can pin to clipboard in win+v and not loose the text. Clipboard is synced across all your devices and phone if you have Microsoft swift keyboard

windows + v also has syncing clipboard, ditto in this case will use CPU and RAM usage for no reason for a function already built-in to windows.

what I don't like about ditto is that it persists its database, which could be a large privacy and security issue. Win+V clears on reboot.

Don't forget editing clips easier, better management of image, folders you can store regularly used stuff in, etc. Win+V is good, ditto is better

windows had clipboard syncing for a while and they took it out of windows at some point... it was actually a pretty significant security issue imo...

Win-v also works with built in device sharing, even across to Android. Also dittos UI is objectively worse, though the backup feature is really nice.

The absolute best was Clipmate. It's no longer supported but still works. Save history, keep saved clips, tons more.
