I believe if it’s TRUE brass Goof Off should work. It’s stronger. Just test an inconspicuous spot first. 😅

Oh it’s fantastic! I’ve seen similar pieces and the bases are HEAVY and definitely brass. Be careful not to scratch the brass if you scrape the paint.

Citristrip. Disassemble the lamp if possible, Slather a good layer on surface, cover with cling wrap for 24 hours. The paint will literally wipe off

Honestly the best thing for this is goof off super glue remover. Also acetone diluted with water. It’s so easy
