We had our son evaluated at age 4 and started speech therapy. He is 7 now and is doing so well. He might be done in about 6 months. 🥰

My little cousin was speech delayed. He didn’t speak till he was 4. Reason was because he raised in a bilingual household so he was confused.

In my case, I was nonverbal for the first six years of my life. Couldn’t start school on time. Started using a computer at 3 in 1985, helped me out.

My son is 4 and is going to a specialist. He is saying a lot more words/sounds now. We play games and toys to get him to talk. Sometime he’s just lazy

My son is 2 he also has a bit of speech delay, we play children songs like 5 Little Ducks, he is slowly learning to sing along🥹

Sign language!! I work with children that are non-verbal and have speech delayes and sign language helps them communicate their needs and wants!

I tried putting my 16 month old in speech therapy but they said he doesn’t qualify for the program. They say he’s not delayed enough. 😏
