@tagalogkurt: I'm just saying... without a product like Google translate I would be sifting through pages of English to Tagalog dictionaries and Reddit sub threads trying to figure out slang phrases and new vocabulary. the easiest way for me to memorize new words is to use my Tagalog Kurt accounts to respond to comments and messages and also to make videos. When I'm typing or speaking and can't think of the correct Tagalog translation of an English word I always make sure to write it down or immediately look on Google for the translation. Then, I use that word a couple of times in a sentence and maybe about 10% of the time the new word sticks. 90% of the time I need more repetition before the word is memorized and easily used in conversation. Tagalog is an interesting language because of the different sentence structure that it has when compared to English.
